In the 1960s, the CIA recruits a young Taiwanese military officer, Colonel Chang Chen-kuang, recognizing his potential to ascend through Taiwan's military and nuclear ranks. His espionage work reaches a crescendo in the late 1980s when he is extracted by the CIA, unveiling Taiwan's nearly completed nuclear weapons program, "The Sky Horse." Colonel Chang disappears into protective hiding in the United States, his true identity shrouded for years.
Fast forward to 2028, tensions between Taiwan and China have escalated, with China threatening invasion under President Xi Jinping. In a desperate move, the CIA enlists Ann Chang, the brilliant daughter of Colonel Chang, now a renowned computer scientist. Her mission: to infiltrate China's military networks and disable their nuclear strike capabilities using advanced Taiwanese microchips embedded with disruptive technology.
